Privacy Policy

When you log in with Google or Apple, we collect basic profile information like your name, email, and profile picture. We also gather anonymous data about how the app is used (via PostHog) and error reports (via Sentry) so we can make it better. We do not record your screen, keystrokes, or personal inputs.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Track your pritty balance and search limits.
• Allow you to save your favorites to the cloud.
• Send promotional push notifications and affiliate links (if enabled).
• Communicate with you if needed.

We use Google AdMob to show ads. We request your permission to allow tracking (IDFA) to deliver personalized ads that are more relevant to you. If you decline tracking, we will serve non-personalized ads. We use an external AI API to power the 'Smart Picks' recommendation feature and the AI-powered product identification feature. We use Supabase to securely store data such as your email, favorites, pritty balance, and anonymous crash logs, which helps us maintain your account and improve the application experience. We use PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for real-time error tracking and performance monitoring.

When you search, your query is sent to third-party APIs to fetch results. If you choose the 'AI' method for Smart Picks in Settings, your query and a list of matching products are sent to an external AI API (via our backend). If you choose the 'Algorithm' method, all ranking computations are performed locally on your device without being shared with AI services. This data does not include personal profile information (name, email).

If you use the barcode scanning or product identification features, Pritialab will request access to your device's camera. For Barcode Scanning, the camera feed is processed strictly in real-time on your device to detect barcodes, and we do not record, store, or transmit your camera feed or barcode scanning images to our servers or any third parties. For AI-powered Product Identification, when you capture a photo of a product to use the "Identify Item" function, the captured image is securely transmitted to our backend server and an external AI API to process and identify the product in real-time, and is not stored or saved on our servers or third-party servers.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online service is completely secure. We do our best to keep your data safe.

You can request to see or delete the personal data we have for you. You can also delete your account and all associated information and settings directly in the app using the "Delete Account" option in the Menu.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make major changes, we will let you know through the app.
